Hello! I'm Margaret Mackey, founder of iTutorOneOn1,
educator, educational consultant, and author of The Little Blue Bird.
Education has always been more than a career for me - it's my passion.
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Lynn University in 2008 and have spent nearly 20 years helping students succeed in both general and exceptional student education (ESE). Throughout my career, I’ve worked with students across multiple grade levels and learning abilities, developing strategies that meet each child where they are while helping them reach their full potential.
When I opened iTutorOneOn1 during the challenges of COVID-19, my vision was to create more than just a tutoring center. I wanted families to have a place where students felt safe, encouraged, and excited to learn. Watching our center grow from one teacher and about twenty students into a team of dedicated educators has been one of my greatest accomplishments.
Every student’s journey is unique, and I believe every child deserves individualized instruction, patience, encouragement, and someone who believes in them.

No two students learn exactly the same way.
That’s why every child begins with a consultation to discuss strengths, challenges, goals, and learning style. From there, we create an individualized learning plan designed specifically for that student.
Our tutors are experienced educators who understand today’s classroom expectations while also having the flexibility to teach using the pacing, strategies, and encouragement that help students truly understand concepts, not simply memorize them.
